OUTSIDE SINGAPORE

One of the real pleasures in living in Singapore is how easy it is to get to everywhere else. Whether it is on business to Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo or Johannesburg, or for pleasure to Bali or Bintan or the Maldives, there are easy connections and plenty of flights.

We particularly like Bali, its just such a lovely place - not too expensive, great scenery, nice people, good food, and all just 2 ½ hours flight away.

The Maldives is even nicer but a little more pricey and a bit more complicated to get to.

Bintan is great for a quick break and the ferry takes less than an hour.
